Position Overview:
Our team is expanding! We are looking for new team members to support our backend operations in our culinary studio!
Key Responsibilities:
- Packing Food Products: Accurately & efficiently prepare food ingredients into designated containers or packaging, following standard operating procedures to maintain product consistency & quality.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect each packed product for any defects, damages, or inconsistencies, ensuring that only products meeting our quality standards are packed for distribution.
- Hygiene & Safety: Adhere to strict hygiene & safety guidelines during the packing process to maintain a clean & sanitary work environment, preventing contamination and ensuring the safety of our products.
- Inventory Management: Assist in monitoring & managing inventory levels, reporting any shortages or discrepancies to the supervisor.
- Team collaboration: Collaborate effectively with other team members, including training staff, supervisors & quality control personnel, to ensure a seamless & efficient production process.
- Packaging & Labeling: Property label packed products with accurate information, including expiration dates, batch numbers, and allergen warnings.
- Equipment Maintenance: Conduct regular checks on packing equipment, reporting any malfunctions or issues to the maintenance team promptly.
- Adherence to Regulations: Comply with all relevant health & safety regulations, food handling guidelines & company policies at all times.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety & industry best practices
- Experience in procurements
Note:
This role may also require candidates to work on weekends.
